Hi all, hope you can help me, i’m having no sound issue with my pc, i tried to search every solutions online but nothing, as sound card i see NVIDIA high definition audio, if i check it i can see only my monitor is connected, but it doesn’t have any speaker. if i plug in my headset the pc it don’t even read it. what can i do?
I’ve also tried to install the realtek sound card online but it didn’t work.
My pc specs are: Motherboard MSI b350 gaming plus, NVIDIA gtx 1660, 32gb RAM, AMD 2700x.
hopefully the store will sort it out.
but in case…
you say you connected a headset, that is, a unit with headphones and a mic, is that so?
or was it just headphones?
and what type of connector, USB or 3.5mm jack?
and if 3.5mm, what type, 3 pole or 4 pole?
and where did you plug them into, front or back ports on the PC?
my Samsung monitor has no speakers and is connected with HDMI cable and it too shows up in Device Manager as an available audio device, just some sort of glitch I put it down to.
did you manage to get any sound at all, via the simplest process available, that is, 3.5mm speakers into the back green jack?
