Capturing Screen Stream Using VLC Player

I was looking for a way to capture streaming of a file on a site that was recorded with zoom but can’t be downloaded completely (only a m4a file gets downloaded and that’s only video, no audio). I found on youTube a program that does that . I also found that I could use vlc media player that I already have and don’t have to download and install a new program. I followed the instructions on you tube and was able to capture the video that was streaming. But there’s no audio. I selected capture, desktop, stream, the “video - H.264 + MP# (MP4)” profile.
I’m wondering if anyone has used the vlc player to do this and knows what I left out.

      I’ve looked into this.

      VLC won’t record video and
      audio at the same time.

      I use these:
      OBS Studio to record.

To trim the beginning and end.
The software just has been updated. Please check it out on our website.
