I recently built a PC and the monitor says no signal when I plug in my HDMI cable, I tried switching the ram slots, video card slot and completely rebuilt my pc and still nothing, I tried using a different monitor to see if it was possibly my monitor but it still didn’t work on the new monitor. Please Help after wanting a PC for years I finally got one and now it doesn’t work. Specs
CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K
MB: AsRock Z390 Pro4
Power Supply: Apevia atx-bt700w
GPU: Rx580
try it without the RX580 installed and connect your monitor to the appropriate motherboard video port.
this approach will eliminate the add-on graphics card causing the issue.
if still no luck, then you can only using one memory stick at a time and other trouble-shooting options.
if the mobo has a speaker, are you getting any beeps at startup?
do the fans and LED’s all indicate that the rig should work?

Nothing still, do you know other troubleshooting options? Or any other advice
do the fans and LED’s all come on?
does it give any beeps during bootup?
did you try one RAM stick at a time?
can you get into BIOS at all?
have you tried different cables, not other HDMI but VGA or DVI?

All the fans and LED’s do come on and yea I tried one RAM stick at a time, I can’t get into BIOS, but no I haven’t tried the VGA will that help?
you are at the stage of ‘anything may help’, so yeah, try using the VGA ports instead of HDMI.
what about beeps at startup - these can give an indication as to the fault.
I also want to add, the lights and fans in my pc turn on then turn off and on again, it only does this on start up and afterwards doesn’t happen again, also my case fans don’t turn on.
when you built the PC, did you connect a little black, circle speaker to the front panel header on the mobo?
if not, then you won’t get any beeps so get your hands on one.
