How to identify window 7 drivers in universal drivers cd for many os

After installing window 7 my internet and keyboard are not working because no drivers are installed.
I got a universal drivers cd but there are no setup.exe for any drivers just a few hundred files like “A010” “A0101”… in it.

NOTE: i can’t boot the driver cd using boot options cause keybaord is not recognized cause no drivers and i can’t hit f12 key.

So others can assist some information they may need.

What is the make and model of the computer?

Where did the Windows 7 media come from?

Prior to the installation of the operating system was the keyboard working?

Have you tried different ports for the keyboard?

    System Specs?

You don’t need any drivers apart from those on a Windows install disc to make your keyboard and mouse work. Try using your mouse to uninstall any keyboard drivers you already have, reboot and windows will reinstall its basic keyboard driver.

Even if you have fancy keyboard and mouse windows drivers will give them basic functionality, and at least enough to allow you to get specific drivers ONLY FROM THE MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE. Never use drivers from anywhere else.

BTW: no need to quote previous posts.

          Hi thanks for replying
There was only a “standard PS/2 Keyboard” driver in device manager.
          so i uninstalled it
connected the external keyBoard(laptop keybaord doesn’t work)
          And restarted the laptop
During restarting the keyboard lights lit up and the keys were responding but after the “starting windows logo” the keyboard lights went out and stopped responding.

Windows 7 is the only thing installed?

You do not need to have the internet working on the system you can download the drivers to a different computer and a USB drive to move the drives to the affected system.

Remember to start with the Chipset drivers first. Dell also has a specific list to follow on driver install .

In addition to the above, it is the Dell Touchpad driver that is needed for your keypad, all drivers required can be had from here
