    USB Bluetooth adapter doing nothing

Bought this Bluetooth adapter today, plugged it in when i got home and nothing happened, literally nothing.
No new devices in device manager (also no bluetooth dropdown in device manager), no noise to indicate a new usb has been plugged in etc.
    I’ve tried the following

Bluetooth & other devices: nothing shows up under any of the options
opened ‘Services’ set Bluetooth options to automatic (although ‘Bluetooth user support service’ just says invalid parameters when i try to change it)
    restarted my pc
    used three different usb ports

I also can’t seem to find any drivers online, I don’t really know what drivers I would need to download anyway.
    Running windows 10 btw.

Could be a bad device since you just got it take it back ad exchange it.

If you plug in anything else into that USB spot does it read what is there?

What color is the USB port that you are using and have you tried others?

With the bluetooth adapter plugged in open device manager and see if there are any explanation marks visible. A bluetooth adapter can commonly display in “network” or “other devices”

Make sure bluetooth and support service is started.

Also try it on another computer if you can.

Tried every USB port on my PC to no avail, tried it on my brothers PC with the same results as my PC, on the site it says compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 as well so that shouldn’t be the problem.
No exclamation marks in device manager, also can’t add it under the add legacy hardware option, and you say make sure ‘bluetooth’ and ‘support service’ are started although I only have, ‘Bluetooth support service’, ‘Bluetooth user support service’ and some audio bluetooth thing.
Hoping to return to the store tomorrow, thanks for your help though.

Looks like you got a dud. It happens some times and explain to them that you tried it in multi ports and on separate system and would not work.
