Is "Adblock" Firefox Add-on Okay to use?

The “Adblock” add-on seems to be something good to have. I looked at the reviews on “Adblock” they were a mix of people saying it was good and people having concerns or issues. Does anyone have experience or an opinion about using it?

I used AdBlock Plus (not to be confused with the different AdBlock extension) years ago when it used to block all ads.
then they sold out to companies that would ‘pay’ them to allow their ads through.
in other words, it no longer blocks all ads as a general service.
so I switched to uBlock Origin and haven’t looked back.

Ublock origin would be a better choice IMO
