Sorry to trouble you again, but on a recent enquiiry(now solved) the answer was to download Winrar,I did that no porblem, but because I had chosen to place winrar on my desktop after extracting and opening files, when asked were to,without thinking I elected for desktop!! I now have a desktop smothered in open winrar files.
I uninstalled Winrar,no joy, then did sysytem restore still no good, desktop completly covered.
Can someone kindly tell me how I go about removing them…thanks
Hopefully some of our members will chime in soon..

Hi GUys have just bailed myself out, took time but just selected all and sent every file from my desk top into recycling bin, then restored all my normal programmes which were about a 1/5th of what ended up on my desktop!!! That taught me a lesson…it might be called winrar but you only win if you keep your eye on the ball!!! Please mark as solved..Thank you
