Followed all of the steps you said, still have a blank file on my desktop named CHKDSKResults.txt
I also reran the check disk again, twice, and still have nothing but a blank file on my desktop. I followed everything you asked me to do to the letter, but I still don’t have any results to show you. Could that be indicative of a problem? If so, what can or should I do about it?

Went through the previous thread and have to agree with what @DOUGIE stated there in Post # 11 that it may be the Power Supply Unit. Do you happen and or can check the total Wattage on the Power Supply Unit?
You will need to remove the side and look for a sticker on the unit.

The reason that it is only happening during games would show that it only happens when the system in under a load.

You may also want to go through the entire system and re seat every cable.

Okay, thanks. Would it be cheaper to replace the computer or the PSU? I don’t know much about fixing hardware.

Depends on the cost of the power supply unit, how much wattage and make and model.

Okay thanks. I posted the information about my system when I started this thread. Is it possible to give a recommendation of a proper PSU, or should I take it to a local shop?

Do you know how to change a PSU and hook up harness to Hard Drives/ CD, fans etc.?
If not take it to a computer shop. Tell them you want a good Quality 80+ Certified PSU around 600 watt.
They can quickly check for any other issues as well.

Looks like I’ll need to take it to a shop to get it fixed. Thank you for the advice and help. Other than that, I can give you an update once I get it fixed, but other than that, guess I’m good. Thanks again all.

Since you need to take it to a shop, I’ll mark it as resolved for now. You can report this thread Using the Report button to let us know if you need it re-opened or if the shop fixed it for you
