Can someone provide help to remove/uninstall NCH Software Suite from PC?

Have you tried Revo Uninstaller? @gus and @Malnutrition I know that there are two others that are as good on removing stubborn software like this just cannot remember what they are (and I use them) they will know and post when they are on.

Use the free and you can also use the Portable so there is no software around.

Keep these programs handy should this ever happen again.

Rustys,

Thanks for response.
Tried Revo Uninstaller - The Suite doesn’t appear in Revo Uninstaller either.

Apparently the company has over 200 programs.
Here are the most used 25. See if any of them appears in Revo.
Should I remove programs from NCH Software? NCH is a software development company tat primarily sells to individuals via their website. NCH Software provides a wide range of software p...

In control Panel, under Add/Remove look at the “publisher” look for NCH software and post what you see listed under Name.

Rustys,

They do not appear in Revo.
Also tried Geek Uninstaller - the same.

Depending on how long the NCH software software has been on the system you could try a to Roll back the system to a prior date.

While also in the Add/Remove section look at programs that were also installed the same date when NCH software was.

Rustys,
Tried a restore - couldn’t be done.

When I click on Start/All Programs/NCH Software Suite There are 18 separate programs listed!!!
Would like to delete/uninstall all of them.

Roger the easiest way to fix this is to reinstall the program, which will overwrite it, then it will show in add remove programs and Revo where you can then uninstall it.

You could also try Geek Uninstaller, although if it doesn’t show in Revo it probably will not show in Geek Uninstaller, worth a try though.

Here’s a speech showing how to use GU

Please go HERE and download Geek Uninstaller portable and save it to somewhere you can find later. Now use you favorite Unzip application to extract the zipped file from the download. This should create a new folder that contains a Geek.exe file which you can now double left click to open the program.

Optionally you can create a desktop shortcut by right clicking the Geek.exe file and choose “Send to” from the drop down menu. This will give you a shortcut icon on the desktop for future use of this handy application.

You can safely ignore any security pop ups that may appear before the program opens.

Either way you open it once Geek Uninstaller is running select the program you wish to uninstall by right clicking it and then choose “Uninstall” from the drop down menu.

Follow and accept all uninstall options once the uninstaller begins.

It is recommended when removing any Antivirus/Security program, or if you have errors or difficulty removing any program to use “Force removal” to uninstall the program.

Should you have any further difficulty removing any items please ask us for help

Gus/Rustys/plodr,

I looked again in ControlPanel/Programs and Features and found one entry for NCH.
I uninstalled this entry and all the rest appear to have been uninstalled as well.

When I now click on Start/All Programs there is no NCH Software Suite.
Can I assume that NCH Software Suite is now uninstalled?

Give it a few days and if nothing appears, then I’d say mark this thread solved.

There will undoubtedly be bits of NCH remaining in the registry and file system but they are unlikely to cause a problem. No reason to expect any further issues with this.
