Remove the download redownload and see if that help.

Get it from the Realtek site.

I did the removal & reinstall yesterday. The 1st one came from WinUpdate, then I tried downloading it from Realtek Website & still got nowhere.

For some reason, it doesn’t give an error message.

This will give the error messages.

Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop. Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens select the following boxes:

                          Flush DNS
                          Report IE Proxy Settings
                          Reset IE Proxy Settings
                          Report FF Proxy Settings
                          Reset FF Proxy Settings
                          List content of Hosts
                          List IP Configuration
                          List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
                          List Installed Programs
                          List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

COPY and PASTE the complete information for the MTB.txt file into you next post.

Where did the screen shot come from? Which Tab?

You state that the New Version of the software will not open?

How did you do the install?
Did you uninstall the old version prior? Yes some install do require this to be done.
Is the new version compatible with your system and hardware?
You security setting could be preventing causing this as well.
                              Possible HDD failuer.
                              Possible infection.

Just are a few reasons why it may be happening.
