Acronis Log Shows Backup Succesful But No Catalog Data

Acronis Backup Rel 11.7 runs full or differential backups. Log says each completed successfully. When I try to do a “recover” Acronis says there isn’t any backup data. I see the actual data on the disk drives. And I see Catalog “entries” but the entries have nothing in them. How to fix the catalogues for existing backups (Extremely important) and how to make sure catalogues are written correctly?

If anyone is familiar with this I would be grateful for assistance. Yes - these are questions for Acronis support but so far getting someone to pickup on the line, even after long hold times, has not worked.

    Thank you

When it comes to FULL backups can you browse to select the backup file? Also can you map and explore/browse the actual FULL backup?

To ensure the backups are written correctly you should choose to verify the backup.

Thanks, gus. The backup data was OK - for some reason - and Acronis doesn’t know why - the catalogs, and possiblily the XMS files) were not updated. The Acronis support rep - who was very nice and spent almost two hours on the phone with me - showed me how to update them both. I’ll just have to check them after each backup and if their not updated, manually force the update.
