My pc blue screened today while I was transfering files between drives and since then i cant connect to the internet with an ethernet cable. Could this mean my port is broken?

I didnt pay attention to the blue screen message
I only have an ethernet port, no external wifi cards
All i know is that i was transfering a big file (~50-60gb) when my pc suddenly blue screened. It restarted and everything seemed fine until I saw the no internet icon bottom left
I tried running the troubleshooter, changed ports and changed ethernet cablesComment

Sorry but as above, you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.Originally posted by PyroWe need information about the PC, as any other way we can only speculate.s
Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the motherboard and what operating system you are running.Comment

Make sure that the Ethernet port is enabled in the BIOS, if it is, look in the Device Manager to see if there are any yellow ! or red X marks against the Ethernet port.Comment
