Just an update before I go to sleep PC didnβt crash (doesnβt mean anything but is a good sign) had a successful 2.5hr stream as well.

I know you said not to do multiple posts but today my Graphics Card Nvidia 2060 requested an update wouldnβt that mean the card is installed on the PC and I wouldnβt need to re-do the Graphics driver?Comment

I am not trying to make you mad at all, I appreciate your help as you are the only person who has actually helped me thus far. I just donβt understand everything you say as I donβt work on PCs. SO when I said the below you replied with no, so I assumed I could skip reinstalling windows 11 as in my mind that would be reinstalling the computer itself. So since you said no I just went to the next step which was to turn off XMP and change RAM settings which are done, and I also updated the chipset drivers on my PC.
What do you suggest I do next?
Originally posted by Evan GreenwoodSo you are saying the only fix at this moment would be a reinstall?
Also if you tell someone who knows nothing about PCs to install a couple of things then in a new post you say I suggest to just install the chipset drivers (as I have) that gets confusing to me. Which is then I ask do I need to install the remainder which was the Storage/Sata and Graphics card, also my Graphics card App updated the GPU so shouldnβt that mean it is installed on my PC?
Also when I say this tech support or help elsewhere that was during the 1st week I was having this issue and is how I got the original post on the thread as they couldnβt help me anymore. In regards to me geting the RAM tests, GPU stresstests, etc. I dont know how to do that but they helped I am only getting help from you.Comment

Is there anyway you can please still help me? You are the only person to have been this helpful and gotten me this far.Comment

Guess you arenβt going to help anymore, able to close this thread so I can compile the info and start with someone else then?Comment

You have already been advised what you need to do in my reply #29 but for whatever reason all you wanted to do was nit pick, I am more than happy to help but only if you do as asked and only post back when it is to advise on the results of any testing.
If you have turned off XMP and installed the Windows 11 chipset drivers that was all that you needed to do for now, if you have no further BSOD as was said in my reply #29 leave well alone or if you have any further BSOD you should upload the latest crash dmp/s the way that was explained in my reply #5.
No need for any reply now until the couple of days testing has been done or you have any new BSOD, crash dmps more that two days old should not be uploaded.Comment

Thank you will give it a couple of days, past 2 days have been clean with no crashes at all after turning off XMP and installing the WIN11 Chipset drivers. Will respond back if any crashes occur or to give an update on Saturday after a few days of letting the PC work.Comment

Will look out for your next update on Saturday.

4 days have past with no crashes at all after turning off XMP and installing the WIN11 Chipset drivers.
Seems we fixed something thank you very much hopefully it stays like this. My next question is, since you noticed my chipset wasnβt installed and other things, what were the other things not updated/installed? Is there a way you can help me figure that out so I can be sure everything else is working properly?
Thank YouComment

Good news and means that this thread can now be marked as solved.

Originally posted by phillpower2Go into the BIOS, disable XMP and then manually set the RAM to run at 2666MHz and the voltage to 1.35V, save the new settings then exit the BIOS.

I have been on the same install of windows for 8 plus years, only ever updating my graphics driver.Originally posted by phillpower2You must do the above and then test the PC for a day or so, if no problems, you leave well alone, ( Added to ) Tested for 4 days without any problem means that you now have a stable computer.

Note the regular " if no problems, you leave well alone, " advice, heed it and unless you are real unlucky you will not need the help of tech forums again.
You are welcome and stay safe.Comment
