The video drivers are already up-to-date (with a clean install). I don’t know if there were new Windows Updates at the time, but there are some now, so I installed those. Furthermore, both [ICODE]sfc /scannow[/ICODE] and [ICODE]DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth[/ICODE] had no issues except for a single OneDrive file that pops up every time we run sfc (AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OneDrive.lnk).

I know Cyberpunk has not had the best history, but the twin computer with the same hardware (and much more software) had not encountered a single issue with the game since the first update patch shortly after its release, and this is after 200+ hours. At least 30 more hours were spent in the game since the latest update, too. I don’t think Cyberpunk 2077 is wholly to blame.

We have also noticed that the problem PC often freezes shortly after exiting the game. We’ll see what happens after installing a new PSU, but I think it may be a software issue considering the timing. Now for this one I’m willing to put blame on Cyberpunk 2077.

There are no other updates at this time; we haven’t used the PC much in the past two days.

To avoid us having to ask for an update every couple of days we will close this thread until the OP has the time available to work towards resolving the issue, PM a member of staff when you are ready and the thread can be reopened.

Crash dmps more than two days old are of no use unless the problem is reoccurring at a later date, not the case here as you have two different issues going on in the last two crashes, looked at the one dated March 31st and that like the crash on April 1st was hardware related, the crash yesterday was driver related and namely USBXHCI.sys, what it is and how it gets fixed here

Your CPU is flagged up in one of the hardware related crashes.

As per my reply #12;

Here are two more. I suspect no change. If so, feel free to close this thread again.

Memory and CPU flagged up again and being that they are causing the BSOD the troubleshooting can be done here, first things first, did you replace the PSU with one one more appropriate as was advised in my reply #8, unstable voltage can cause both a CPU and the RAM to blue screen and we can`t risk testing either if there is a junk PSU present.

I’ll have the funds to replace it soon enough. I won’t reopen this again until I’ve replaced it.

Thank you.

I installed a new power supply two weeks ago. The PC still froze one time, and blue screens still occurred.

On Monday this week, I reinstalled Windows 10, clearing the entire C:\ drive in the process. I let Windows Update do its thing until it was completely done, and I installed only the following applications:
• Steam
• Battle.net
• Epic Games
• GOG Galaxy
• Chrome
• Firefox
• Spotify
• Skype
• GeForce Experience
• Razer Synapse

I let Steam, Battle.net, and GOG Galaxy re-find the game files (installed on a separate hard drive). I also fully updated the video driver and checked that all other drivers were updated.

Yesterday, while the PC was being used to play a new game (Dorfromantik), it suddenly rebooted three separate times. Minidumps were created for each forced reboot (see attached), but no blue screens actually appeared.

I fear the next step is replacing the CPU, but I want to be really sure about that because of how expensive they are.

(I will not be able to reply for at least 10 hours.)

What is the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

How long ago did the PC freeze.

What was the computer being used for at the time

The below is 100% not the way to do things.

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

Three different causes flagged up in the crash dmps.

Video drivers. first.

Hardware second.

The latest was Spotify.

Each one of the crashes could have been caused by the reinstall not being done correctly so in addition to the answers above we need a new Speccy url, a MTB log and should the PC crash again the latest crash dmps, no worries about the delayed reply and thanks for letting us know.

(1) Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

(2) Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;

List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply for us if you will.

This is the PSU: MSI MPG Series A850GF, 850 Watts, 80 PLUS Gold Certified

I replaced it almost four weeks ago. The freeze occurred about a week after the replacement. Like many of the freezes before it, it occurred after closing a game, leaving no other programs open but Discord and anything else in the background. In this case, it was Overwatch that was closed. This kind of freeze usually occurred within a few seconds after closing the game. Other game-closing freezes have occurred with StarCraft II and Cyberpunk 2077 before the replacement. With this new PSU, the computer only froze this single time, and that was almost three weeks ago now.

I forgot to mention that I did install the motherboard drivers (obtained from the ASUS website), but I do not recall if I installed them before, after, or in between installing the programs. I let Windows update itself first, and I downloaded a bunch of the EXEs at the same time. I waited to go through the EXEs one at a time once the updates were finished and after a reboot.

Here is the Speccy profile:

The MiniToolBox TXT file is attached.

The PC only freezing the once and it being three weeks ago makes that point irrelevant, if it had happened only yesterday it would be of concern.

With the exception of one thing Speccy looks ok;
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Computer type: Desktop
Installation Date: 5/2/2022 6:00:02 PM

There are no system drivers shown to have been installed after Windows was clean installed.

Regarding MTB;

There have been no further issues since 05/05/2022 so as they say, there is nothing to see here.
