Blue Screen Crashing a lot, need help as i need this PC for Uni work, please help!

I recently built a PC from scratch, installed windows 10 via media creation tool on a USB which is fully up to date. The PC crashes 1-2 hours with various stop codes appearing on the bluescreen of death. For example:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    APC_INDEX_MISMATCH

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

    KMODE_EXCEPTION-NOT-HANDLED

Things ive tried to troubleshoot include reseating all PC components, reinstalling windows 10, Nvidia driver updates, memtest, removing old harddrive that may have contained old windows files.

Ive also installed Geforce Experience and updated drivers through that to the latest one available (Released 28/09/2020).

I have 5 minidump files dated from 06/10/2020 and 07/10/2020, I have attached these.

I would really appreciate if anyone out there could resolve these issues.

    PC components:

    AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor

    INtegral M Series 128GB SSD

    Crucial Ballistix BL2K16G36C16U4B 3600MHz (16GBX2) RAM

Asus Prime B550-A AMD B550 Motherboard
Gigabyte Auros GeForce GTX 1660 OC 6G Graphics Card
Thermaltake Thermaltake RGB 700W power supply
    Cooler Master MasterFan MF121L x4

Dual Monitor Setup on Acer Nitro RG240Ybmiix 23.7" monitors

    While we look at your crash dmps;

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Only the last crash was driver related, the others point towards hardware and most likely the RAM.

        Couple of questions;

Are you aware that your CPU only supports RAM up to 3200MHz, specs are here

What slots on the MB do you have the RAM in.

Have you tried manually overclocking the RAM to 3200MHz in the BIOS.

Not sure if it will work with version 2004 but try the test here for the file system driver problem.

Going offline soo but will check back tomorrow evening UK time.

          HI,

I was not aware my cpu could only support ram up to 3200MHz but i have it set at 2800MHz.

I have my RAM in the 2nd and 4th slots, 1st slot being the closest to the centre of the board,

I have not tried manually overclocking the RAM to 3200MHz in the BIOS.

          Thanks for the quick replies!

            Hello Dryman1998,

You have your RAM in the correct two slots on the MB (y)

Ryzen CPUs favour fast RAM but if you enable the OCing feature on the MB it will push the RAM too far and 3600MHz is too much for your CPU on its stock settings, that is why manually setting the RAM to 3200MHz was suggested.

Were you able to run the file system test.

            You are welcome btw

If having trouble with running the test, I would leave it for the time being and just concentrate on the RAM.

Okay, i’ve set the RAM speed to 3200MHz in the bios but had another crash since then. Anything else that I should give a try?

Sorry but we need any crash dmp that may have been generated, we have nothing to analyse otherwise.

                      Of course, sorry about that.

Just ran a DMP collection and i’m trying to attatch the zip file and it says its too large to attach. The file is 2,177 KB. Any other way to get it to you?

                        No problem (y)
                        1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
                        2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                        3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

                          Got that done(y)

                          There are 5 files, 4 dated 08/10/20 and 1 dated 09/10/2020

Couple of things that are mentioned multiple times in the crash dmps, GPU drivers and Opera.

We only have two tests that we can do and both are long winded and take many hrs to complete, I suggest that we start with properly testing the RAM, before we do, can I ask you to check in Device Manager for any yellow ! or red Xs against any of your hardware.
