laptop wont let me inistall amd graphic driver .. atikmdag.sys

oki windows and everything is set to the flash now i got it into flash drive .. should i use gpt or mbr ? dose it make any difference ? and could it be related to the error in any way ? .. or should i just procced in mbr “NTFS”..

oki .. i downloaded windows using their app in microsoft and picked download to usb drive .. now im installing it .. deleted all partations .. created new ones .. and now its installing .. once its done i will download drivers in order and see what happens

oki .. after installation .. i went to Chipset tried to install and once i pressed on it i got the blue screen .. and got the same error .. "atikmdag.sys page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. .. everytime i start latptop it gives me same error ..

oki managed to install drivers in order on battery .. and still got the same issue .. and i couldnt install intel hd 620 from dell website i got this error “this computer does not meet the minimum requiments for installing the software” .

but everything else still the same .. i can only start laptop on battery once i connect to charger i get the atikmdag.sys error ..

now i reinstalled windows ..did not connect my laptop to internet because i think windows downloads it automaticaly and i will give it a second try with drivers installation

oki so far so good .. im installed drivers “with no issue” in order and now im installing intel graphic driver .. next will be the amd hope it works fine .. will let you know what happens ..

oki once i installed amd driver it give me the error atikmdag.sys page_fault_in_nnpaged_area .. didnt even complete the installation

it failed and it give me the atikmdag.sys error . then laptop blue screen collected errors .. restarted and open normally but amd driver is not installed so I think next step is :

I will try other versions of the driver .. and let you know what happened .. but i take a break now cuz i have work after 4 hours from now .. so i will try again after work need some sleep ..

Could be that the card could be bad and a replacement might take care of that.

could be that the card just needs to be reseated too.

you stated that you updated the BIOS did you try resetting it (BIOS) back to defaults?

yes i did but i cant downgrade it .. and idk how to flash it .. would be risky

i thought of that too cuz sometimes my gpu displayed as r7 m440 .. which is wrong ..
also there is a new bios update available in dell website .. should I try to update .. ?
or should I follow methods in internet to flash factory version .. 1st bios version in the site ..
