Notice that you download torrents and have a couple of VPNs running so need to ask, have you got any cracked software on the computer.

Iβve another update is itβs of any use. I reinstalled my old gtx 750ti and ran the same psu tests, it worked fine and there was no reboot. Honestly was kind of hoping it would fail so I could confirm itβs the psu. Also ran OCCT gpu test for the 1660 super and the pc rebooted. website I bought it from has a replacement policy for faulty components, should I avail of that or buy a psu? Sorry if Iβm getting ahead of myself and asking too many questions btw.Comment

Well the VPNs are still there and causing conflicts.
Asked about the cracked software because nothing in this life is normally for free but with cracked software you quite often do get malware thrown in for free.
The GTX 750Ti only requiring a 300W PSU and no supplemental power dongle from the PSU means that it is not putting the PSU under any load so the tests are not really conclusive tbh, that said, if you ran OCCT while the GTX 750Ti was fitted and you got no problems there are no other tests that you can do other than swapping in a known good and appropriately powered 500W PSU to test the 1660, if unable to do this there is no alternative but to return the 1660 and hope that the techs find that it is faulty.Comment

It seems I may have solved the issue, when I originally installed the new gpu the screw hole wouldnt line up with the hole in my case, so I had to tilt the gpu up to align them together. When I was replacing the 750ti with the new gpu I decided to leave the gpu rest naturally and instead screwed the pci mount on the edges to tightly secure it. It seems to have worked, as so far everything has been running smoothly and the psu test did not result in a reboot.
Thanks for the help and quick responses, Iβll make sure to use this forum in case I ever encounter a problem with my pc again.Comment
