I’m just after installing a Gtx 1660 super into my pc, and I have also upgraded my monitor to an Asus vg248qe. However when I’m playing any game, like csgo, war thunder, or witcher 3, my pc will randomly reboot, with no error or anything. I’ve spent the 2 days trying to fix it and have gone through every forum I can relating to this issue.
Here’s what I have tried so far:
[ul]
[li]Cleaning my pc and all its components[/li][li]Updating gpu drivers (and also clean installing)[/li][li]Checking that all cables are connected properly[/li][li]Making sure that CPU and GPU temperatures stay at acceptable levels (which they did)[/li][li]Removing/rotating RAM sticks[/li][/ul]
And here are my specs:
[ul]
[li]i7-4790[/li][li]Gtx 1660 Super OC Gaming Edition[/li][li]16gb Ram[/li][li]Corsair CX 750 PSU[/li][li]Msi B85-G43 Gaming Motherboard[/li][/ul]
It’s also worth noting that the GPU I was using before this was a Gtx 750ti, and I never experienced any problem like this during the 6 years I had it.
I’ve seen people recommend updating the Bios, but I’m not sure if that’ll do anything but I’m leaving it for a last resort.
Any help is welcomed, thanks.
