Hi,
This problem started when I updated the AMD drivers. When I open any game (via Steam, Origin, battle.net, or other randoms such as MtGA launcher), my PC crashes and restarts. The time spent in game can last anywhere from 0 to 60 seconds, but never longer than a minute. Very specifically, it is ONLY games that cause a crash, everything else works perfectly. However, it does not matter which game or which system, every game is doing it.
These are my specs:
Radeon RX 580
Hybrid SSD and HD
Intel I5 9600
Asus Z390 Motherboard
Corsair CXM 550 W Power Supply
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB (8x2)
Windows 10 64-bit
What I have tried:
Downloading old and new drivers for my GPU (Tried everything from 19.12.3 to 20.4.1)
Hardware and Software diagnostics show no problems
Temperature, power usage, cpu usage, and gpu usage are all very low
Halted all nonessential background programs
Streamed the game through my laptop via steamconnect
Tried different games, from 8bit to RDR2, all cause a restart
Disabling all audio
Did a hard drive diagnostic, all was healthy
Uninstalling and reinstalling games, and steam
Taking apart, cleaning, and putting back together some of my hardware
Moving my PC so it had more airflow
Much more
