My pc crashs then it goes black

    Hi
Since updating my windows to the latest version (1909) and things went down hell (like every time Microsoft give us an unchecked updates). My pc now crashes even when the only thing i do is browsing lightly. Moreover, when I reboot it, the screen is black. I tried to fix this problem by restoring the system but it didn’t work. Help please !!!

Hi @I hate my pc and welcome to PCHF

Please download the Sysnative BSOD Dump + System File Collection App - save to Documents folder.

Run the app - Double-click on the downloaded EXE file
Output = new folder created in Documents + a zipped version – SysnativeFileCollectionApp folder + SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip.

Please note that the app averages ~3 minutes to run on most systems; other systems - it my take as long as 10-15 minutes to run. Please be patient.

Also note: The app auto-zips the SysnativeFileCollectionApp output folder. It is located in your Documents folder.
Windows Explorer should open and highlight the zipped folder

Please attach the SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip to your post and await further instructions

      Thank you for replaying

Note: I am running my pc on safe mode with networking because I can’t even browse for 4 seconds without a crash in a normal mode

My theory now is that there is a corrupted driver causing this problem

        Thank you for the log.

How does it run in Safe Mode? Does it still crash?

It doesn’t crash anymore because my screen is always black so at this point, I think that my video card is done. I have integered graphics card but I don’t know if I can switch to it if I can’t see anything.

That could explain why you’re having issues I’m afraid

The latest Windows 10 update has issues running on older hardware. Was it running perfectly fine on 1903?

yes, everything worked fine until (my theory) 1909 “updated” my graphics card driver (which caused the problem)

You could try reverting the update.

                        [ol]
[li]Open the Windows 10 Settings Menu by clicking the gear icon in the Windows Start menu, or by pressing “Windows+I” keys.[/li][li]Click “Update & security”[/li][li]Click the “Recovery” tab on the sidebar[/li][li]Under “Go back to the previous version of Windows 10,” click “Get started.”[/li][li]Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete the rollback.[/li][/ol]

Just out of curiosity, have you tried attempting a fresh install of Windows 10? Do you have another PC you could use to make a bootable USB drive?
