Black screen with bigger than normal cursor

In the last days my laptop has been working great, relatively fast boot times, hard drive not going to 100%, etc.
But last night, when i tried to boot my laptop it got stuck after the first loading screen and before sign in. The screen ir turned on but black, and the cursor apears and i can move it but after some seconds it dissapears and when i move the trackpad again it appears again in the center of the screen. I hace tried booting up in safe mode but the same happens.
Some details that may be important:
-when i press num lock or caps lock their respective light turn on, but they turn off after some seconds after wich i can press again and the light will turn on again
-ctrl+alt+delete does nothing
-pressing fn+f11 disables and enables the trackpad
-windows key+ctrl+shift+b does nothing
-windows key+p opens a sidebar but when i move the arrow keys and press enter nothing happens even if i try several times connected and disconected to an external monitor.

I am trying to delay a visit to a technitian the more i can because most of the time technitians in my country just format the pc, no matter the problem or if there are any other solutions i would take it to one only if it could be a hardware problem.

my money would either be on a faulty hard drive or corrupted Windows files (maybe due to a faulty drive).

I would be getting into the ASR (Advanced System Recovery) menu by holding in the power button as soon as you see the WIn10 spalsh screen and forcing it to restart. repeat that 3 or 4 times and you get into the ASR where you can try things like booting to Safe Mode, using Restore Points or a repair or fresh install of Windows.

Thanks to Bruce I decided to buy a ssd for my laptop, i made a fresh windos install and connected mi old hdd to retrieve all my data to the new one. Finally i formated the old hard drive to have it as secondary storage and now my laptop works wonderfully!
