Black ops 6

Hey can anyone help me with graphics on bo6? I changed some stuff around and like my game stutters like for a second they will stop moving and I’ll be shooting the bullets not registering. I got a 4070 ti super, 32gb of ram, my pc will run the game on extreme I’ll get around 160 fps but I run everything on minimum which is low low quality, I turned my vram usage from 70 to 50 and went from full screen borderless to full screen exclusive my display resolution is on 2560x1440 someone said I could turn it to 1920x1080 but idk how much that will help I know the eyes can only see so many pixels. My fps since changing all this is at 250 but when running etc they’ll be literally like a 0.5-1 second stutter in the game and it makes me lose gunfights because my bullets aren’t registering I put my pc power mode on high efficiency. Idk what else to do.

G’day Caleb and welcome to the forums. (y)

Let’s do a full workup of your system.
No personal data is published and everything shown is safe.
1. Download Speccy by Piriform.
In Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
Paste that link into your post. Is Speccy safe?
2. Download GetSystemInfo by Kaspersky.
In GSI, click Start. (takes about 10mins)
It makes a ZIP file on your desktop, drag that to their GSI Parser site.
Once analysed, paste the newly created URL into your post.
3. Download MiniToolBox by Farbar.
In MTB, tick List Installed Programs, click Go then close the program.
A file MTB.txt is created in the same folder, attach that to your post.
4. No software interrogates the Power Supply Unit so list the make/model and age.
5. Go to www.speedtest.net and screenshot your network speeds.

Kaspersky GetSystemInfo (GSI) Parser allows you to check and fix PC compatibility issues between Kaspersky products and other software. Troubleshoot with Kaspersky GSI Parser!

that is everything you requested Bruce sorry its on separate replies wouldn’t let me edit post

A quick Google search on that PSU didn’t yield any results that would make me recommend that brand.
See here for starters; PSU Tier List rev. 17.0g - Cultists Network
They rate it either Tier C - Low End or Tier F - Avoid.
The few review site I found also rated it very badly.

GSI event log is showing a process called Schannel constantly erroring, and with futuristic dates.
Finding out why or just disable logging, see here; Enable Schannel event logging in Windows - Internet Information Services | Microsoft Learn
I’m not sure how important Schannel is but it seems to be related to SSL certificates and remote access.

Otherwise, finding the reason for FPS drops are the Holy Grail of gamers.
I’m not a gamer but here is my stock standard response, see if anything helps.
If you have your PC as lean and clean as you can make it, that’s part of the battle.

Sadly, the other parts may be outside your control like; number of users/devices on your network, bandwidth, line attenuation, signal to noise ratio, etc. Logging into your modem’s config menu will show these values.

But things you can control are;
• reboot modem/router/pc
• delete restore points
• turn off hibernation (powercfg -h off)
• empty web browser cache
• delete system temp files
• scan Windows for system corruption (sfc /scannow)
• scan drive for file corruption (chkdsk c: /r)
• disable unwanted scheduled tasks
• disable unnecessary startup services
• disable scheduled defragging
• TRIM any SSD’s
• turn off Timeline and Activity History, and all things Microsoft Telemetry based
• empty recycle bin
• delete log files and error reports
• remove old Windows Updates files
• cleanup software installer and distribution caches
• delete unwanted programs
• remove any browser extensions
• if connecting via wireless, try ethernet
• pause any online cloud storage synchronising (OneDrive, DropBox)

CCleaner or Glary Disk Cleaner or the inbuilt cleanmgr command can do most of those points.
Note: when running CCleaner, only run the Custom Clean, not the Health Check, or Registry clean, or Driver Updater features.
Also, when installing, be sure to check all pre-selected options carefully and not simply allow it to use default suggestions.
It may offer to install AVG Anti-virus, there is no need for this.
It will also add a Smart Cleaning process to Windows Startup and a couple of tasks to Task Scheduler – these can be disabled from within CCleaner.

ShutUp10 by O&O Software can stop a lot of telemetry items.

Other things to try; create another user account and login under that profile.
Also check for firmware updates for modem/router and PC BIOS.
