Keyboard delay when playing fullscreen games

I recently built a pc, and it was fine for the first week or so, but for some reason recently I’ve been having this weird delay with my keyboard. It’s different in certain games, sometimes it only happens when I try to skip a song on spotify with my keyboard, sometimes it’s just constant. One thing I recently noticed is that the rgb on my fans also seem to stutter as well at the same time my keyboard is delayed, I thought that might tie into it. The mouse is perfectly smooth, just the keyboard is delayed. Will provide specs if necessary.

Yes please post your pc spec’s.. Also did you install the chipset drivers for the mobo ?

To follow what Veeg has stated do not forge to install the drivers in the correct order.

The system was not set up properly once Windows had been installed;

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer ** or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

The reason why this procedure is so important, the chipset is what enables the MB to be able to communicate with all the hardware + are the first drivers that Windows looks for on boot.

First off, the RAM is the incorrect speed for that CPU.

How does the system run if you are to use the onboard graphics?

Since the system does boot a speccy report would reveal better information what is happening.

So other can assist let get a speccy report.
