Why does my integrated graphics run better than my 1060

    Hello everyone,

Just had a weird query, I had been using integrated graphics for a while on some basic online gaming, and it was running well, then I switched to a nvidia 1060 6gb, but all of a sudden games feel weird, like as if there is some delay, using my integrated graphics my hit reg was perfect and games ran as if when I got hit in a sword game like minecraft, it looked fine, but then on my nvidia gpu its like Im being hit from a much further range as if there is some delay. I had previously used other graphics cards as I thought there was an issue with those, such as a 1050ti and a 970, but I get the same result, I really need help as I want to play more demanding games but I can’t play with this delay.

    Specs:
    i7 6700K
    1060 6gb
    16gb ram (15.1gb useable)
    550CV PSU
    4x256gb SSDs

let’s get your complete PC specs.
get Speccy; Speccy - Download Builds
in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot (hit Yes if prompted to proceed with publish) > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
now you can paste that link into your next post.

Speccy doesn’t show the Power Supply Unit so, if a Desktop PC, list the make/model of the PSU.

    Is Speccy safe?

I might know why, so when I run MSI Utility to check MSI mode, my 1060 has no msi mode in the inf file whereas my intel hd graphics does, how do I fix this?

that Corsair CV550 is only meant for integrated graphics cards, so is probably struggling when using the GTX1060 card.

as to Nvidia 1060 vs Intel HD 530 - the 1060 wins.
