    MLow FPS w/ Ryzen 9 5900 and 3060ti

    Hey guys!

    So I’ve been having this issue (specifically with warzone) where I barely get around 80-90 fps. I’ve compromised my in-game graphic settings and it still doesn’t seem to get above 90fps. My friend and I have similar pc’s (his I7-12700 and 3060) but he gets well over 130-140 fps with the same in-game settings. I feel like I’ve tried everything but idk what to do anymore.

    My specs:
    Ryzen 9 5900
    3060 ti FE
    B550 mobo
    16 gb Ram @3600
    700w psu

        700W Sounds great but only if it is from a reputable brand, has an adequate output to support all hardware and last but not least it must still be in warranty.

        Post the full PSU specs as was requested.

            Sorry but I prefer to be blunt, I would not use that PSU as a doorstop, at work atm but will look at your thread when i finish in a couple of hours.

              I figured it wasn’t the best quality but enough to get the job done ???

                The present PSU is rated as Tier D • Recommended only for very cheap, iGPU systems here which means that it should not be used anywhere near an add on GPU.

                To be able to suggest an appropriate PSU we need to know the brand name of the GPU, EVGA, Gigabyte or MSI etc, if a stock Nvidea just say stock.

                In addition to the above;

                What are all of the games involved.

                Is this one 16GB stick or two 8GB sticks.

                Just a fyi, 3600MHz is the wrong speed of RAM for your CPU, AMD state here up to 3200MHz, when two sticks are present, if you have XMP or DOCP enabled the RAM will get auto OCd past what the CPU can handle and the PC fall over.

                Make sure that the Windows Power Plan is set to Balanced and not High Performance or Ryzen Balanced.
