Stuttering/Skipping/Freezes in Games

You mentioned in your PM that you were having micro stutters, that is not consistent with your original problems as your thread title shows, this suggests to me that the two are unrelated and if you have not addressed all of the issues highlighted in my reply #4 you should have done so before posting back, not mentioned by you since that reply #4, swapping in an appropriate PSU or reinstalling Windows and the system drivers on an appropriate size boot drive or boot partition, both are a must and if not done already we are wasting our time here and by using that PSU you risking permanent damage or complete failure of one or more components.

Well i said “small frequent freezes”, but yeah micro stuttering is probably more accurate of a description.

Regarding PSU i can not change it i do not have the money for it same goes for an SSD. Reinstalling windows and system drivers i did not do yet since I had work to do on my pc and didn.t have the time yet but will do. I do not know how or what to do about partitions if u could be a bit more explicit about that.
I was also looking through BIOS versions and i saw this regarding the newest version of bios for my motherboard:

2. Fix AMD fTPM issue causes random stuttering.”

fTPM i think is disabled though so idk if updating bios is needed let me know what u think about that since i saw that a lot of the updates mention “improve stability”
One weird think about bios is that i am running on version 3801 and in the list of bios updates on motherboard website i can not find this version(idk if it is normal or not)

All that we can realistically do here is provide a means of testing your main hardware when it is under load, the video you provided did not show anything helpful tbh.

Updating the BIOS is always a last resort so you need to be aware that you do so at your own risk.

The PSU and SSD you are stuck with so nothing we can do to help there, partition wise, you would need to create a new 250GB partition on the WD HDD, take the SSD offline then clean install Windows and the system drivers to the new partition on the HDD, once that was fully up to date and recognised as the C: partition you put the SSD back online then format it or alternatively leave it offline and keep it as a back up boot device.

I too noticed the BIOS revision number did not last btw.

Alright i will first try to reinstall windows and drivers and see how that goes but before that what is the mean of testing my hardware? and also what do you suggest about bios (at my own risk)? should i try to update it or not? and do you know if and how i can unbrick the system in case something goes wrong cause i see i have these 2 features on my motherboard:

I don[ICODE]t get involved in BIOS updates when working on forums, keeping it that way means that I can[/ICODE]t be blamed when people do brick their boards.

Not a gamer myself so not much help when it comes to FPS but over the years through helping people I have found that when it comes to online gaming there are three things that hinder gaming, a poor internet connection, browser security plug ins and using VPNs, sort them and you are usually good to go.
