I spent the day building a new pc, new parts and everything. When trying to turn it on, nothing happened. I managed to turn it on by using a screwdriver to the front panel connectors to short it. Even with this on, my monitor says no signal as well. I think it might be the front panel connector cable as some of the plugs seem like they may be missing, but I could be wrong. My case only comes with one (power led, hdd led, power switch and reset switch all in one) not multiple.
Power switch issue?

the front panel header on the motherboard are fairly standard, but now always!
so does the all-in-one front panel connector fit to the front panel header and are all the cables in their corresponding correct positions?
but after you shorted out the PWR SW pins, that should allow the PC to start normally.
as it doesn’t, would suggest something else is at play.
do you have an add-on graphics card, and if so, have you plugged the screen into that rather then into the motherboard ports, and have you added the extra power cables to the graphics card, again, if it needs them?
double check the memory is seated correctly. -
