Apex Legends causing BSODS on PC

    Hi All,

Whenever I launch Apex, it generates a BSOD on my PC. The weird thing is, if I reinstall the game, it will work fine, but if I close and launch it again it will cause the bsod error. The BSOD errors are of different categories.
Also, the dump files are not being generated and I am not sure what the reason could be. I tried to perform clean installation, BIOS upgrade, Drivers update/downgrades and everything. Nothing seems to fix it. I tried to run memory test (Windows Diagnostic tool) it showed no errors with memory.
Other games, like CSGO Age of Empires 2, Pubg work fine without any issues.

I am not sure what kind of problem I am having, whether a windows issue. This issue started when I was using windows 11. I also downgraded to Windows 10 but it still did not fix it.

    Thanks for your help.

      Let’s get some more information:

      Please download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.
[HEADING=3]To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
      [ol]
[li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]

Please look in the computer and tell your exact model of PSU, this could cause problems especially if it is a low quality 80+ Bronze unit.
Look for the model, wattage, and efficiency rating^

          Hi,

I changed the thermal paste on my GPU and performed BIOS Reset. Since then I never had any crash. Not sure out of these two which one was responsible for the issue. In my opinion it was the BIOS as I recorded temps when I was facing the issue, it was not that hot.

          Thanks for your help.
