Halo MCC crashes my pc after 2 years playing with no issues

So, as the title shows i’ve been playing halo mcc for 2 years and had no issues, i was playing last night till 1am.

Today I open the game via steam and my pc goes to blue screen soon as the game loads, the error is “PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA”

What an earth is going on, i’ve checked and there have been no updates to my system since I last played.

I’ve tried all sorts to get this working again, full uninstall of game and reinstall, drivers for gpu and whole pc updated but nothing has worked, I can load any other game such as elden ring or halo infinite just not MCC?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

What application have you downloaded the game from? Steam, Epic, etc?

What OS are you using? Windows 10, 11?
