I am posting on behalf of a mate who is poker streamer who’s been been dealing with a pc issue where his mouse / pc start lagging once he is 3-4 hours into a stream and usually when he plays 8-9 tables or more. The poker windows drag like he is dropping frames, and his mouse moves like it goes through tar.
This issue has continued over to a new pc as well. They did a full clean install of everything. Every scene, every setting, everything was new. So it seems to him there is a software conflict somewhere. He stress tested the poker sites software with a workbench tool they have, let it run 30 tables for 20 hours and experienced no lag. So it’s not just on the poker sites side for instance.
They changed mice repeatedly. A really big improvement was deleting Logitech G-HUB and not using Logitech mice. As a note: this never used to be a problem. With that same setup and software in the past I he played13 tables with 0 lag. Anyway after a bit of time this problem has come back all the same, G-Hub or not.
The moment he reboots his pc the problem is gone. This is honestly just driving him absolutely insane. He is at his wits end and he says his can’t continue like this.
He is using a Corsair mouse and Windows Operating system.
The issue comes when he is playing 8 or more tables. When he plays 3-4 tables he doesn’t notice.
Any thoughts?
