RAM not available

I’m trying to play aoe4 on my windows partition. I keep getting the window pop up which says:
’ age of empires IV requires 4gb of available RAM to play. Your system had only 2.9/7.9 GB free. Please consider closing a other applications before continuing, otherwise the game may become unresponsive.’
I have no applications open and can’t figure out why the ram isn’t available. I’m running in lisensed windows 64bit btw.
