Red Dead Online Steam Connection Issue

please someone help me. I have went through great lengths searching for help and Rockstar games just absolutely refuses to help (no surprise there right. Worst customer support ever.). I’ve joined multiple discord servers, reddit groups, Facebook groups, and online forums and nobody can help me.

3 days ago I bought red dead online on my pc on steam and I have not been able to play it once yet. I can’t even make it to the Character creation screen I get “failure to connect to rockstar games services error 0x00000000” (its a random number every time.) I have tried resetting my router, flushing my dns, resetting my pc, reinstall red dead online, reinstall Rockstar games, reinstall steam, turned my firewall off, hacked nasa, absolutely nothing will work. It should also be noted that I have GTA5 and it loads just fine every time… however red dead online absolutely refuses to connect.

The launcher starts fine and gta 5 starts fine. I can load red dead online and press play then it starts loading into a online lobby but it fails every single time with the error “unable to connect to rockstar games services” and boots me back to the main menu.
