So I just built my first gaming pc about 3 months ago. I wanted to play and stream but noticed problems with low or dropped FPS. I have a geforce rtx 2070 super paired with an AMD7 3700x cpu. I would assume that these specs can handle streaming and playing at the same time. However half way into my stream my frames drop to around 60 or worst and when I don’t stream I max out at 110 fps on 1080p low settings. So I’m wondering what will help his new cpu or gpu ?? Please let me know

What is your Monitor’s Htz? Sounds like you have a 1080p. Is it possible that your monitor is 60 htz? Your framerate should match your monitor and you can control this with V-sync in the game. It’s why they put V-sync in a game setting. 60fps is great for a 60 htz monitor. A 60 htz Monitor is only capable of 60fps. While you can get say 120 fps on this 60 htz monitor, the mouse has less lag but you are subject to screen tearing. Best to stay with what your Monitor natively refreshes at. Simple to solve if you want to play at 120, just buy a 120htz monitor, a smoother picture
It might be your internet throttling up and down. you can test that with your Internet ProviderComment

which games? With those specs, why settings on low? 60 at Ultra is better than 165 at Low. Or are you dropping below 60 at Low?Comment

Warzone mainly , I play on low 1080 so when i stream FPS wont be as bad. Like it just happened again my fps dropped to low 20s. I’m not sure what the problem is Maybe i have to upgrade but I feel LIke my spec should be able to handle streaming and above 90fps on 1080p low.Comment
