FPS drops on League of Legends - Choppy Apex Gameplay

    Hello everyone,

I would like to say sorry if this is not the right section on the forum for this post, but if it is, then I would love some help. I recently built myself a pc, which I consider a beast, but again, that is up to each of our opinions.. hehe.

    The issue is as follows:

LoL: When in teams fights, fps can go from 240 to 60 and specifically when Senna ults, it goes from 200 to 60. I can reproduce this issue easily and I realized in my Radeon software whenever the FPS drops happens, the utilization heavily drops on my GPU. As if it would underclock when I need it the most. This happens wether I put options to ultra low or hight, vsync on or off, still happens.

Apex: I get fluctuations of FPS from 300 to 80 for no reason. Makes the gunfire fights really choppy sometimes and laggy.

I will post a dxdiag of my pc so u can know the hardware, I currently have the most up to date drivers for AMD.

Could anyone please direct me in the right direction or help me.. I got a 6900xt gpu with a ryzen7 3800x CPU, 3200mhz ram 16 gigs… Not sure why these issues are happening on a top end machine.

Thank you so much, if anyone can fix these issues I will gladly donate Paypal to you <3

Lets start there so others can assist.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

If this is a desktop include the make and model of the Power Supply Unit

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

What are the internet speeds getting?
Check during different times of the day.

        https://www.speedtest.net/

Have you tried connecting a different gaming server?

See if the same thing happens during a clean boot.

        Beep boop

Does this happen only online play and or offline as well?

So my download speed is 450 mbs, and its stable through out the day.

My ping is not an issue, on league I have 36ms constantly and on apex I got 52 which is really good.

Even if I play vs bots on league it slows down the fps.
