    Latency, low frames, and high cpu time in warzone

    I recently bought my first pc
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processer GHz
    32 GB RAM
    geforce GTX 1660 Ti

    when I first started playing warzone on this pc I was playing at high frames. The main screen would stay at 60 FPS and never move. CPU time would stay at 7-8 main screen and would generally stay around 12 in game. A couple weeks ago I started getting a high cpu time 20-30 main screen with frames fluctuating from 25 - 60 before settling around 45 moving up or down a couple frames. When I get into the game at this point the cpu time goes back to what it was before around 12-15 in game. Frames around 70-100 but jumping when a couple weeks ago they were consistently above 100. I also started getting a lot of latency in the last few days that results in low frames and just makes it impossible to play the game with any consistency. Latency is fine for a bit, maybe some slight skipping then will jump up to upwards of 300 ms.
    From what I understand I shouldn’t be having these issues with the setup I have. As I stated before I am new with PCs and just don’t know what I’m doing. GPU time is consistently fine. It’s only issues with the cpu time. I’m generally using about 33% from the cpu so it doesn’t make sense to me why I am having the issues I am. I would appreciate any help

      I’ve tried that. I see it in the update history, but when I go into “uninstall updates” it doesn’t show up. I did an advanced reboot and uninstalled the last quality update twice. I have no way of knowing if it uninstalled that update or not.

          while not a gamer and therefore have never cared or delved into FPS stuff, the first thing I’d be doing is a complete PC maintenance process.

          so things like;
          [ul]
          [li]reboot modem/router/pc[/li][li]delete restore points[/li][li]turn off hibernation[/li][li]empty web browser cache[/li][li]delete system temp files[/li][li]scan Windows for system corruption[/li][li]scan drive for file corruption[/li][li]disable unwanted scheduled tasks[/li][li]disable unnecessary startup services[/li][li]disable scheduled defragging[/li][li]trim any SSD’s[/li][li]turn off Timeline and Activity History, and all things Microsoft Telemetry based[/li][li]empty recycle bin[/li][li]delete log files and error reports[/li][li]remove old Windows Updates files[/li][li]cleanup software installer and distribution caches[/li][li]delete unwanted programs[/li][/ul]
          and either CCleaner or Glary Disk Cleaner or the inbuilt cleanmgr command can do most of those points.
          also ShutUp10 by O&O Software can stop a lot of telemetry items.

          other things to try;
          [ul]
          [li]create another user account and login under that profile[/li][li]check for firmware updates for modem/router and PC BIOS[/li][/ul]

              I haven’t had time this week. I’ve been working 12 hours every day. I’ve got 5 days off coming up so I’ll try some stuff out then

                  So I’m looking at it right now. I decide to start the game one more time to see if I noticed anything else. I did. I noticed the graphics card is at 1-2% usage while playing the game. I am trying to find what is causing this but haven’t found a solution so far. When I pull up task manager while playing the game it shows my power usage as “very high”. I feel like this could be what’s causing my cpu time to be so much higher. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. HDMI is plugged into the graphics card btw

                    Forget what I just said. I used msi afterburner and GPU was running like normal while playing. CPU usage in CPU 1-12 was jumping from 40-75%
