In-game chat not working

Hi there, on some games like valorant and overwatch, I can’t hear or speak to others, I can see that they’re talking but no sound comes out. In other games like Apex Legends it works completely fine. I’m open to suggestions, this has been happening for over a year now.

All my drivers are up to date and it doesn’t seem to be a problem in th egame but something with my pc or settings.

It could be the game and it’s servers…This seems to be an issue with a lot of games..

How did you update the drivers?

What software are you using if any for the in game chat?

I don’t game online so generic suggestion here:
Ensure the headset is set as the default sound & mic.
