New laptop. Consistently under 10fps when gaming

I’ve just bought a HP Pavilion 15 Gaming Laptop, Ryzen 5 4600H, GTX 1050. I don’t consider myself very tech savvy, but according to several sources I should be able to run Mount and Blade Warband comfortably, right? It is currently the only game I play.

On day 1 of purchase I was able to do a 200 vs 200 custom battle at 60fps no problem, here we are 4 days later and I’m now down to under 10fps in the exact same circumstances. This is also with my in game video settings set to their lowest (I had them at highest when I bought the laptop and tested it with the custom battle) I have tried rolling back nvidia drivers to pre November 2020 and this did not work. I have verified integrity of game files and this didn’t work

I’m confused and worried that I bought a new laptop for it only to perform at the same rate as my old one, please help

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
