    Gaming quality issues

    Hello Everyone
I have been dealing with this issue for a very long time and it is frustrating me.

I bought this gaming pc* in November 2018 so 2 years ago. The smoothness of my gaming has deteriorated, with every game. The first time I realised the fps dropping on all games was around March-April 2020 after a windows 10 update.
Then again recently probably a couple weeks ago my performance dropped again.
This is an issue with every game. (Battlefield 5, Cod WW2, Farcry 5, Total war, etc…)
I can compare it easily with Battlefield 5 and Farcry 5
The day I bought the pc I bought the game. The game played on Ultra high settings smoothly. (that is also the geforce experience recommended graphics)
After the first drop I had to lower my graphics to High. (although geforce still recommends Ultra)
Now I started playing the game again and It has too many frame drop and lots of lagging. (geforce experience still recommends Ultra)
Is this a normal deterioration of Gaming computers? is there something I can do about it? It is frustrating.
I know that a gaming Pc needs to be upgraded to play more recent games, I was at least expecting my pc to play the 2 year old games smoothly like when I first bought it.
Why can I not play at the same smoothness on the same game I played two years ago?

I have been updating my Graphic card drivers.
    Doing regular anti virus scans.
    Keeping it defragged
Only used about 50% of both Hard drive memory.
Been using PC only for gaming
Opening and cleaning with air regularly.
Windows have been reinstalled once by Currys PC World due to windows not turning on.
I even overclocked it safely, (minimal increase)
    Temperatures are all fine

    *Gaming PC:
    [ul]
    [li]Model: Acer Predator P03 - 600[/li][li]Operating System : Windows 10 Home 64-bit[/li][li]Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz (6 CPUs)[/li][li]Memory: 8192MB RAM[/li][li]Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB[/li][/ul]
Thank you for taking the time to read through this and help me.

Lite-On should stick to making optical drives as they can`t make PSUs that’s for sure

Being an older spec system there is no point in going over the top monetary wise so get yourself a minimum of a Bronze efficiency rated 500W PSU from EVGA and you will be covered, whatever you do, don`t skimp and get a cheaper brand or a White efficiency rated PSU or you will end up worse off than you are now.

Once you have an appropriate PSU post back.

I have attached a picture of the model you mentioned, just to double check that this is the correct one.

To avoid us having to ask for an update every couple of days we will close this thread until the OP has the time available to work towards resolving the issue, PM a member of staff when you are ready and the thread can be reopened.
