going crazy when sitting down compared to standing would indicate some sort of VR setting or placement of your VR room sensors as a cause - but again, VR isn’t my thing, so I’ll tag out now and hopefully other members more savvy in the VR side of things will chime in.

Yeah and it never did that before i reset everything, and nothing in the room has changed, but i can’t make it do it again now, so not sure what up with that.

I have noticed it’s getting worse the more i play now like its slowing going back to the way it was even though i’m not bringing up a web browser anymore. I crashed for the first time today going through avatars, and searching worlds is starting to freeze the PC again, so I don’t know.

      Thank you for your help.

As of right now, i have found if discord is off, don’t use a browser while playing VR and make sure nothing else is running in the background, clean cookies every time i start to play, i’m doing pretty good. No crashing, loosing sound or anything else to note. Graphics needs to stay poor, if i try and go back to the default, i start getting lag, screen wigging out and loosing sound.

My friend let me use his Index for the week and there was no difference, so with that, i’m totally ruling out any VR headset issues, i tried both headsets with the defaults and then making sure nothing was running as stated above and they both mimicked themselves with the same issues.

I know it says on steam what the minimum running requirements for vrchat is and i’m well past that with what i have, like it states a 970 as minimum, but maybe that was back when VR first came out and a 1660 should be the minimum now, IDK, i’ve been wanting to get a 2080, just needed to save up.

I’ve definitely noticed the index can handle these issues better than the vive,

Yeah, i think at this point, there is nothing more that can be done till i get a better GPU and see what this does. I’ll try to remember to update when i get one.
