Thanks Bruce, I think I’m at that point as well. Going to start from the beginning and with a clean slate - see how it goes… will let you know.

right after windows is installed, go straight to what ever is needed to get fortnite running.
you want to test the theory with the least amount of variables as possible.
then, if fortnite is OK with that config, start adding more software and hardware until the potential culprit gets added to the mix and shows its ugly head.
you want to have a reliable baseline that is stable then start adding one thing at a time.
good luck.Comment

Bruce,
I am concerend if i go “clean slate”, windows will not be able to reinstall correctly without a product key (but assume they may be stored directly on hardware. Are there instructions for reinstalling windows and doing a full disk clean?
To elaborate - when i click “Reset this PC” - it says “Could not find the recovery environment”
Thanks, austinComment

Also, I have an error message from COD that may be helpful that crashes now on launch.
(May be hard to read, screen grab wasnt working during crash)Comment

that error seems to be graphics card related.
I’m assuming you have a NVidia card.
as to reloading Win10, download the Windows Media Creation Tool and get the latest image.
use the tool to make a bootable USB stick and use that to reload Windows.
backup any personal stuff you want to keep.
during installation, at the point it asks about partitions, use that to delete them all.
then when prompted to enter the Product Key, click the “I don’t have one” option and continue.
when Windows starts and detects the web, it’ll auto-activate and find your license on the MS servers.Comment
