Gaming PC low FPS

OK guys.
I play alot of modern warfare warzone.
I was playing on an outdated gaming PC
Gen 4 i5 4690
Msi gaming mother board
16gb ram.
GTX 1060.
The game played well enough around the 60fps mark. Every now and then the CPU would Max out and game would lag spike on me.

So I’ve gone out and bought a new setup to have the game Run smoother and around the 100fps mark.
Steel legend Bm450 MB
Ryzen 5 3600XT 4.1ghz
16gb 3200mhz ram.
Still using original graphics.
And the game runs no better. If not worse. Jumping out of the plane into the map. Game drops to 40 FPS and everything starts lagging.
I’ve gone over every setting in game and PC. Setting everything to performance over quality and its still no good.

Looking over the task manger performance, while the game is running. The PC isn’t even trying.
20% CPU usage.
9gb of memory.
And the GPU is Lucky to be using 1%.
So it’s like the PC is being restricted to actually make the game perform to its potential.
I’ve gone over all the basics. Everything is up to date.
Anyone got any ideas?

What is the make and model of the power supply?

The ryzen 5 3600xt is not listed as being combatable with the motherboard

Which RAM did you get for the system?

This is the setup centercom listed for me and said they all work. Ummm. I’m not 100% on the ram. All I know is it ddr4 3200mhz.

What is the make and model of the power supply?

We 100% need to know this information.

Not a gamer myself so not much help when it comes to FPS but over the years through helping people I have found that when it comes to online gaming there are two things that hinder gaming, a poor internet connection and browser security plug ins, sort them and you are usually good to go.

Help on forums needs to work two ways, you help us to help you, what is the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

From your list of hardware and the test results there is only the one suspect, the PSU, not a good brand or quality and being that it is not even Bronze efficiency rated the PSU is only suitable for a PC that has only integrated graphics or a real basic entry level add on GPU, your model of PSU even when out of the box new could only produce 528W which is well short of the 650W on the label, the PSU specs can be confirmed here, the minimal two year warranty period is a tell tale sign that the PSU is not expected to last.

Best suggestion would be to see if you can borrow a good quality brand 500W or above PSU to swap in for testing purposes and fingers crossed hope that your GPU is ok.

Which power supply do you need?

Other than the above all we can do is check your other hardware etc to see if there is anything else going on, doubtful with the core components that you have.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

Just because there is just a slight different does not always mean that it will be compatible.

Yeah mate solved. Turned out to be the graphics card was stuffed. Maybe I knicked something putting it in the new motherboard. I bought a new GTX 1660, now game and computer runs better than I ever expected.
