Should I upgrade my pc or buy a pre-built PC?

Trying to figure out what I should do? I can buy the upgrades that I need for my PC but, don’t know how to do everything. Or should buy a better PC that pre-built with better specs.

there comes a point where after everything is upgraded you have a new PC anyway.
so now the point becomes do I want to do it?, can I do it?, is it cheaper to simply buy off the shelf?

                Hi,

Looking at the specs, you are better off buying a new CPU, motherboard, RAM, and video card and upgrading those components while keeping the case, power supply, and existing SSD.

What country do you live in?

                    Ok.

Here is something I would upgrade to:

Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS Gaming Motherboard AMD AM4 SATA 6Gb/s M.2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 HDMI ATX

                    RAM: G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) AMD X370 / B350 Memory (Desktop Memory) Model F4-3200C14D-16GFX

                    CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 3800X 8-Core 3.9 GHz (4.5 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W 100-100000025BOX Desktop Processor

GPU: SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 5500 XT DirectX 12 100418P8GL 8GB 128-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Video Card

Then you can get a cheaper video card, Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E Dual HDMI / DVI-D / Dual DP OC w/ Backplate (UEFI), 100411P8GOCL, and CPU, AMD RYZEN 5 3600 6-Core 3.6 GHz (4.2 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000031BOX Desktop Processor

Well I would just go with upgrading the motherboard, CPU and RAM and keep your current video card to save money until you can upgrade that at a later date.

The video card is still passable so I would upgrade those other three components first and then decide on when you want to upgrade the GPU.
