Hello. I run a 1700x and rtx 2070 with 16gb of ram. I recently just reinstalled windows and i’ve gotten higher frames than before. in games like overwatch and modern warfare my frames are nice and steady. overwatch 180-220. modern warfare 140-170. When i hop into csgo though id expect to get above 200 all the time but even just idle in a comp match i get around 150 and it drops to 110-120 at times which makes it hard to even aim for me. ive installed all of my software and chipsets. everything is up to date. im just wondering if i should be getting higher fps or if theres something im missing. thank you
Not a gamer so of very little use when it comes to FPS but have you considered the possibility that it could be a problem with the CS:GO server, couldn`t find the x version of the CPU but benchmarks for the 1700 here say ave 134 so you would expect a little more from the x.
