I’ve just installed Pillars of Eternity 2 and the screen doesn’t scroll smoothly. I don’t have this problem with other games. The PC is new with a decent GPU. What should I try to resolve the problem, reduce the screen resolution?
Looking at the info in your OP it sounds like a problem with the game itself which if the case you can[ICODE]t do anything about it I[/ICODE]m afraid
We will take a look for you but need some additional info.
Are you playing the game via Steam, if yes, are the other games that will play ok also played via Steam.
For you to do;
Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
I suspect you’re right about it being the game, I was just wondering if tweaking any of the video options would help? Windowed, screen res etc? The PC is OK, it’s new and to a good spec and other games run fine.
