No worries, better to be safe rather than sorry but can I just say that you are complicating things for yourself by not sticking with what we are trying to achieve here, reading stuff on other forums that have no bearings on this is just confusing you.
Not sure what you mean by “Do I have to reinstall windows or can I just use DDU.”
DDU is only for uninstalling video device drivers it has nothing to do with Windows and since you said that you were going clean install Windows there will not be any third party video drivers on the system for DDU to uninstall.
To reiterate, the following is all that you need to know and what steps to follow;
Once Windows has been installed you install the drivers for the MB, starting with the chipset drivers first and then you install the drivers for any GPU from any disk that may have shipped with the card or direct from either AMD or Nvidea depending on which brand of card you have - do not let Windows install any drivers else you will end up with problems.
But I found the drivers and I just want to make sure that after downloading the chipset drivers, I download all of the other drivers for it. (Audio, LAN, SATA, USB etc.)
Also, after I’m done with the MB I just have to download the one GPU driver on the website and I’m good?
I tried with both these drivers installed and not installed and I’m still crashing. I also did the RAM test by taking out 2 and switching I but I crashed both ways.
What happens exactly, crashes are normally associated with Windows and you get a BSOD and subsequent crash dmp, if the issue is hardware related such as overheating or a weak PSU you do not get a crash dmp.
99% of my crashes are to the desktop with a game crash report, but the odd time I get a blue screen and lately with the message WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Also, earlier in the thread I linked a crash dump from a blue screen.
