Stuttering in almost all games - in desperate need of help?

I have an issue that has been plaguing me for about 3 months now and that is stuttering. I have it in all games doesn’t matter if its new (Dishonored 2, Apex, League) or old (Witcher 1, Skyrim) and the weird thing is the stuttering still happens even though my FPS is pretty solid. VSync seems to help with the issue a little bit but its still unplayabale in most of the games.

I found that my DPC latency seems to be quite high which some people think it could lead to stuttering. Such high latency appears eve after a fresh install of Windows so I have no idea on how to lower it. PC SPECS:
• NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB
• I5 4690K QUAD CORE
• MSI Z97 GAMING 5
• 2X8 GB HYPERX FURY
• CORSAIR 600CX
• SAMSUNG 860 EVO 500GB SSD

The only thing I have plugged into my mobo is an old PS/2 Keyboard and an old Genius mouse + my Sennheiser headset.

sorry, never got into the whole dark arts of PC gaming, left that for the dedicated games consoles to avoid that very expensive, vicious circle, black hole.
that was my son’s (when younger) domain - he’d buy the game and somehow I’d have to cough up for a new grahpics card. :unsure:

Have you tried updating your motherboard’s BIOS to the latest version? Are you overclocking any components?

Try Enabling Ultimate performance power plan and see if that makes any difference.

Lets check your system temperatures. Download and run CPUID Hardware Monitor. Then while the computer is in a game, post a screenshot of your systems temperatures using Hardware Monitor in your next reply.
