Old games running slow at high resolution

I’m having some issues with a couple of old games I’ve recently purchased. Long story short I’ve been playing Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Tropico 2 (on Origin and Steam respectively) and the more in increase the in-game resolution the slower the games are responding. I’m running a GeForce GTX 750 ti, intel i3, 8gm ram. No issues with running anything newer like PUBG or Apex. Any ideas? I appreciate the help.

Some information about your machine will help things along.

Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.

    Checkmark following boxes:

    Flush DNS
    Reset FF proxy Settings
    Reset Ie Proxy Settings
    Report IE Proxy Settings
    Report FF Proxy Settings
    List content of Hosts
    List IP configuration
    List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
    List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
    List Devices (problems only)

    Click Go Attach the result.

    Download Scanrapide
    Unzip it to your desktop.

Can you run the scans and post the logs.
It wont take you more than 5 minutes to complete the scans as a whole.

These logs will tell me a lot about your machine, like if there are any errors too many items running on your machine; Temps etc. If I do not have this information, then I will be shooting in the dark when I tell you anything, since not all machines are the same there is no one solution for any problem.

You could start by clean installing your Nvidia Grahpics Driver.
