    Budget gaming laptop

I was looking at this thread: https://pchelpforum.net/t/pc-laptop-...der-500.31239/ and it struck with me. My brother was searching for a gaming laptop or rather a laptop that can play most games with good fps. He usually plays league of legends, fifa. He usually plays league in my laptop (it gives varying fps from 40-60 or 80 when the game has just loaded or when I am just moving around ). For gaming booster I have been using razer cortex recently. But fifa glitches in mine, the movements are not smooth and there is no smooth gaming experience.

He doesn’t play heavy games, and we are collecting our money to buy a laptop under $500-$600. I was thinking of PC but he might need a laptop later on when he goes to college.
So basically, a laptop that can give him smooth experience of league of legends (possibly a stable 90 fps or above) and fifa and hopefully some other sports games.

PS this is my laptop specifications: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/t...WzqnjGpAByWS7E which I got in second hand 3 years ago for about $300 I think.

I highly recommend this laptop: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16834231001
I have it myself and it plays games very nice. I can run GTA 5 at about 50 FPS and fortnite at about 60. I think it is just perfect for you. It’s light and portable because of how small it is. It’s got a beefy cooling system too. The model is the Asus G46VW. Here is some more information: https://rog.asus.com/articles/produc...more-portable/

He doesn’t play gta 5 or fortnite, we both don’t play heavy games like those. And this is pretty expensive as well $1000 is something we can’t afford.

If it can play heavy games then I’m sure it can play league of legends and fifa. This laptop came out about 5 years ago so it shouldn’t be that expensive. My brother bought it new for $500 dollars. If you don’t like the laptop then whatever. Just ignore my post

Hi, I was talking about price. I saw $999 on amazon but if it is $500 for new, then it will definitely fit with my needs. I will search if it is available here and how much it costs here and post an update. Thanks. I did not know the price had decreased.

Unfortunately, I could not find older versions here, only the new versions are available which are really expensive. And buying from online will cost me close to $800 or above, since there is almost a double charge on customs when you bring in laptops.
Can anyone recommend me other versions that are readily available in the market?

would definitely like to know budget gaming laptops, but I think I can only get second hand models (current versions) in my budget range, I am looking for one within these two days.

This laptop looks like it would be pretty decent for your needs, HP 15z Notebook, 15.6" HD Display, AMD Quad-Core Ryzen 5 2500U Upto 3.6GHz, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, DVD-RW, Card Reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Windows 10 Pro.
