    Can Lowering refresh rate make a game feel smoother?

    I have a 165 hz monitor but a game i play alot i rarely get over 100 fps on is turning my refrsh rate down to 100hz instead of 165hz make the game feel smoother especially since the game i play drops frames a lot

          no vsync always makes the game feel terrible like its on 30 fps

                  Is your monitor set to run at 165 hz? I know when I got mine I didn’t know it was set at 60 instead of higher for a good while.
