What PS4 specs are you after? The standard or the Pro?

And why do you want specs of the PS4? Is there no workaround we can look into?

A quick look online and I found a team that made their own PC that resembles the PS4 Pro specs. Although they did everything to the latter, keep in mind, many games get “nerfed” for consoles, so that they can handle the higher res and textures. Although this set-up is like a PS4 it seems to struggle on some games, to be honest if I were in your shoes, I’d look for something with a bit moor oomph to get as close (or over) 60 fps.

Regardless, I’ll give you what they used to make their build.

                AMD FX-8350 8 core 4ghz processor.
                Radeon RX 480 8GB GPU
                8GB DDR3 1600MHz Ram
                1 TB Hard Drive
                450w PSU
                gigabyte 990FX-gaming motherboard

They didn’t mention the brand of the PSU or Mother board (I figured the motherboard out as I have it). Personally, I’d add an SSD on there, to help it run more smoothly. Also they mentioned this has a 320W power draw but they added the 450W just in case of power spikes (go for a gold rated seasonic PSU or something). Other then that the rest is a mystery.

If you wanted to further replicate it, you’d need a Blu-ray player.

To be honest with you though. I think it would be a waste of money. Theres alot better builds out there, PC’s have always been able to surpass consoles in terms of power and graphics, If I were you, I’d put my money towards building something better and “future-proof” (as in, don’t go for the AM3+ they no longer produce them).

Could you show me a build that is the best in the $500 - $600 price range?

Do you have an items for the PC already? for example a Case or PSU?

I’m sure we can help in one way or another, what exactly do you want your PC to do? any particular games you’re looking at playing? With your budget I think AMD is the way to go, they’re generally not as powerful as Intel, but they are affordable (and I’ll be honest, I prefer AMD because of their price). I’ll have a look around, and see if I can put together a Rig for you in your price-range. However I’m going to tag a guy who I know has recommended PC builds before, he may be more apt than I. @phillpower2

Okay so here is my two cents, this is what I’ve put together, I’ve had a look online as well, and these parts seem to be popular in budget builds. I tried cramming an intel in there for you. I could probably make a cheaper rig with AMD though

Motherboard: MSI H110M Gaming ($90 avg)
                      Processor: i5 7500 3.5ghz quad core ($200)
Memory: Corsair vengeance LPX 2x4GB ($81.65)
                      GPU : Gigabyte Radeon Rx 460 2gb ($125)
                      HDD : 1tb ($65) Samsung Evo 120gb SSD ($65)
                      PSU : Evga plus 500w 80+ ($65)

It’s a little bit over on your budget and there is no case. You can always switch the H110M Gaming motherboard for a standard which would be about $40 cheaper. or if you want you could change to a DDR3 motherboard with an AM3+ socket, so a gigabyte 990x motherboard ($100) amd fx 6300 cpu ($90) and some hyperX fury 2x4gb ($60) which is a total of $260 saving you $120 overall. Though AM3+ sockets and processor have been neglected by their creators, so there wont be any upgrades down the line, so if you wanted more power you would have to switch your mother board to do so.

There are so many combinations, it’d be really hard to find the best build possible for your budget. I had a quick research and theres loads of sites showing good builds for your budget, try one of those, or wait until more people comment on here.

Hope I helped in some way
